AUSTRALIAN ARMS
TANKS NOW BEING MADE
(Rec. noon) SYDNEY, April 13. Australia is now making tanks, said the Minister of Supply, Mr. Beasley. A display of these tanks which he had seen last week had been striking 'evidence of the progress made in war production in Australia. Mr. Beasley added that tanks were being made on a basis not yet attempted by any other country.
