IF BRITAIN IS INVADED
NEW REGULATION FOR
DEFENCE
LONDON, March 6. If Britain is invaded, every civilian man and woman may be pressed for service into a colossal pioneer corps of the people. Measures to meet total war in Britain were announced tonight in a new defence regulation known as 84A. The measure emphasises that its provisions are merely precautionary and that no action can be taken under them unless enemy action on land is actually taking place or a landing is considered 'imminent.
