Mr. Arthur Boon, aged 70. carpenter, of Blenheim, at present residing at 9 Elizabeth Street, Moera, suffered a fractured spine when he fell back from the bicycle he was riding after being struck by a bus at the corner of Cuba and Jackson Streets,- Petone, at 5 o'clock last evening. He was taken to the Wellington Public Hospital by the Free Ambulance. His condition today is reported to be fairly serious.
