J. L. GARVIN'S RESIGNATION

Mr. J. L. Garvin, editor of "The Observer" for 34 years, has resigned, says the "Manchester Guardian."
It has been known for some time that Mr. Garvin and Lord Aslor, owner of "The Observer," have not seen eye to eye about recent political developments.
