TRADE CONFERENCE
The New Zealand Federation of Drapers, Clothiers, and Boot Retailers had hoped to adhere to the original intention to hold their annual conference at Hanmer Springs or Timaru. However, transport difficulties have precluded Hanmer Springs as the place of meeting, and it has been found impossible to arrange for the conference to be held at Timaru. It will now be held in Wellington, and it is expected that the attendance of delegates from all associations will be as large as practicable in the present* difficult circumstances.
