OBITUARY

MRS. MILTON VICKERY.

j Mrs. Milton Vickery, who died on Saturday, was a daughter of Mr. H. Gills, a pioneer baker of Wellington. Mrs. Vickery was a prominent member of the Church of Christ at Wellington South and an executive officer of the Dominion ladies' work of that church." She was also president of the Wellington district auxiliary of .tlie British and Foreign Bible Society and of the Island Bay branch, and a pastpresident of the Island Bay branch of the League of Mothers. She is survived by her. husband, two brothers, Messrs. G. Gills (Palmerston North) and H. Gills (Fiji), and five sisters, Mesdames Farley (Motueka), Hammond and Jenkins (Richmond), and Beard (Peep o' Day), and Miss E. Gills (Palmerston North).
