KARORI MIDSUMMER SHOW.

The Karori Horticultural Society's midsummer show, to be held in the Parish Hall, Karori, on Thursday, February 5, will be officially opened at 3 p.m. by Mr. .Wang Feng, Consul-Gene-ral for China. Gladioli, hydrangeas, and other cut flowers and adult and children's decorative work will be featured. Besides the usual vegetable classes, a special competition for a space collection of vegetables will be open to Karori or Northland growers for valuable cash prizes donated by Mr. W. H. Stevens, president.
