JAPANESE BOMB GERMANS
BATAVIA, Feb. 1
It is officially announced that the Japanese bombed a ship transferring German internees from the Netherlands to the British Indies, causing many casualties.
The transport was ordered in accordance with the Geneva Treaty forbidding the holding of prisoners in a combat zone.
