FOE USES BALLOON BARRAGE

LONDON, February 2. An eye-witness account of the great attack on the Japanese invasion fleet in the Strait of Macassar was given by two Dutch pilots. They said that the Japanese warships and transports were guarded by a balloon' barrage 9000 feet high and that the enemy fleet was first seen through a rift in the clouds. The Dutch attacked with four bomber and two fighter patrols.
