SEA CADET CORPS

UNDER ADMIRALTY CONTROL

LONDON, January 25,

Mr. A. V. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, announced today that his Majesty the King has become Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps. The First Lord was inspecting a party of a thousand Navy League sea cadets at Wellington Barracks, London. Mr, Alexander reminded the cadets that the Admiralty had decided to take over the training and control of the corps, which it is hoped to raise to a strength of 25,000.
