ANGLING PROSPECTS

All rivers and streams in the Manawatu district are reported to be unflsh,able. In the Wairarapa district the smaller streams are clearing, and may be suitable at the weekend, but the Ruamahunga River is in flood. The Otaki River is discoloured, but the smaller streams to the southward are clearing and should be in good order at the end of the week. All the rivers and streams in the Hutt River system are clearing, and promise good conditions by tomorrow. The Wainui-o-mata is clear and in good order.
