CANADIAN AIR FORCE
TRAINING PLAN BEATS
SCHEDULE
OTTAWA, January 6,
The Minister of Air, Mr. C. Power, said in a statement that the Commonwealth air training plan is many months ahead of schedule and is turning out trained crews at an everincreasing rate.
For military reasons he declined to reveal the figures. However, he said that the Royal Canadian Air Force had passed the 100,000 mark, and added: "It is fully expected that the objective of 25 R.C.A.F. squadrons overseas will be realised before long."
R.C.A.F. officials in Toronto say that the enlistments this week are a record.
