HEAVY FIGHTING
PHILIPPINES FRONT
LONDON, January 7. News of the fighting in the Philippines comes in the latest Washington war communique. This says that heavy fighting has been resumed along the entire front, and that Japanese troops and planes are subjecting the defending troops to continuous bombardment.
