PITCHED BATTLE
GERMANS AND BELGIANS IN
BRUSSELS
(Rec. 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 7. Belgians and Germans fought a pitched battle during an ice hockey match in Brussels on New Year's Eve, reports the Berlin correspondent of the Stockholm newspaper "Dagens Nyheter." A member of the Gestapo and also a German soldier and a Belgian were shot dead, and another Belgian was wounded. A German military, court sentenced three Belgians to death.
