ENEMY WINTER LINE

DOUBTS WHETHER IT CAN BE

ESTABLISHED

(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 7.

According to the Berlin correspondent of the Stockholm newspaper "Social Demokraten," German military circles declare that the German armies in Russia have not yet reached their winter line. Indeed, it is doubtful whether such a line can be established in view of the continued Russian offensive. , The Berlin radio admitted that since Christmas the Russians have ceaselessly attacked in waves on the Moscow front. It says that the attacks have been repulsed but that the Russians have managed at isolated points to break through the German lines in heavy snowstorms.
