There was a large demand for seats when the box plans opened this morning for J.C. Williamson's pantomime "Aladdin," which is.to be staged at the Opera House for a. brief season, beginning on .Monday night next. Daily matinees will be presented from next Tuesday afternoon, commencing at 2 o'clock. During the progress of "Aladdin," the- Great Levante, who plays the role of Abanazar, the wicked magician, will present some magical features, none of which, have previously been seen in New Zealand. It has been the aim of the producers of "Aladdin" to provide refreshing entertainment for grown-ups, entertainment that may also be thoroughly enjoyed and understood by children.
