AUCKLAND'S ANNIVERSARY DAY
f (PA.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Representations have been made to the Mayor, Mr. Allum, to postpone the public holiday for the Anniversary Day of the Auckland Province, Thursday, January 29.
Mr, Allum said today that he was communicating with the authorities at Wellington and is expecting an early decision.
