PRISONERS FOR EIGHT DAYS
Major Norman Bicknell, Salvation Army chaplain captain with the New Zealand Forces in Libya, and two other Salvationists were taken prisoner in recent operations, but after eight days in the enemy's hands they were rescued. , '
The appointment- of three more Salvation Army chaplains is announced. Adjutant W. Thompson has been selected as the Army's second overseas chaplain, and Captain Lionel "Rundle Captain Elliot have been appointed '*> military establishments in New Zsrland. •
