RESUMED BY CANADA

OTTAWA, January 1

The Government announced today that it had given permission for the resumption of Canadian shipments to Allied territories in the Far East, particularly the Netherlands East Indies, Singapore, Timor, and Free China via Burma.

The Government discontinued these shipments after Japan's declaration of war.
