MAORI BOY DROWNED
(P.A.) LEVIN, This Day. A Maori boy, aged 14, Kenneth, son of Robert Kuiti; of Muhunoa West, lost his life yesterday when he slipped into the Buller Lake while wearing knee boots. With other children he was playing with an old punt at the edge of the lake and when he slipped into the water he disappeared. His body was recovered an hour later.
