FIRE CONTROL
DEMONSTRATION NEXT WEEK
A demonstration of fire control will be given next Tuesday, starting at 11 a.m. Fire controllers, fire wardens, fire patrols, district wardens, block wardens, and building wardens are asked to attend by the Town Clerk, Mr. E. P. Norman.
Hundreds of German generals .and other high officers were * affected by one of the latest economy measures— a ban on monocles, said a recent report from Berlin to the American Press. Most opticians had run out of them and were informing clients Jiat production of monocles was regarded as unnecessary and therefore was forbidden.
