ON THE WATERFRONT
Steps had been taken on all Harbour Board property to provide for blackout or raid requirements, the chief engineer. Mr. E. D. Cachemaille, reported to the Wellington Harbour Board last night. Provision had been made in the head office and in each branch for at least one room where work could go on during a black-out. Suitable blacking-out was also provided for machine rooms on the waterfront.
