The first round of the champion fours was played at Kelburn on Saturday, with the following results:—T. Gray beat J. L. Morgan, Routley beat Strickland; S. Gray beat Reid; Vosseler beat Croxton; Brightling beat Scott; Wicks beat Clarke; J. R. Smith beat Henry; McAneny beat Thomson ; Mid diet on beat Webb.
The Labour Day tournament was won by Cook, Barnes, Morpeth, Clarke (s.).
