AIR CASUALTIES
The following air casualties were announced last night:—
DALE, Olive A. G., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., killed in action. Mr. D. S. Dale, Kakahi.Taumarunui (f.). . STUART, William D., Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., killed as result aircraft accident. Mr. J. Stuart, Otaitai Bush. Riverton, R.D., Southland (f.). CROWTHER, William R., Sgt, R,N..Z.A,F., killed aircraft accident. Mr. R. Crowther, Mangaweka (f.). <
McCAFFRET. Francis M., Sgt., R.N^Z.A.F., killed in action. Mrs. E. McCaffrey, Bunnythorpe (m.). .

JENKINSON, Sergeant Christopher Lewis, R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations. Mr. E. J. Jenkinson, Box 28, Hastings. (f.). STEEL, Pilot Officer Stanley David, R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations. Mr. D. M. Steel, No. 2 Road, Te Puke, Bay of Plenty (f.). ■■ McDONALD, Sergeant Lawrence Matthew George, R.N.Z.A.F., killed in aircraft accident. Mrs. C. McDonald, Runciman, Auckland (m.).
Tenders called for in today's issue for heating services at Trentham, Papakura, and Burnham barracks are not for the ordinary soldiers' barracks, but for invalid soldiers' quarters. The system will be heating by steam from a central boiler house. In addition to the comfort given by the heating system, invalid soldiers will have diversions provided by a theatre and billiard room.
