RESTRICTIONS ON GERMAN RAILWAYS
(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, October 31
The Berlin correspondent of the "Neve Zurcher Zeitung" states that further severe cuts have been made in the normal traffic on the German railways because of military demands and also the low coal reserves. Civilians are forbidden to use the railways unless for urgent business reasons. The restrictions are now as great as they were in the last war.
