I When Commodore W,. E. Parry spoke one night this week at a gathering of the Wellington branch of the Overseas League he delivered a message from her Excellency Lady Newall who had received a letter from Mr. Eric Rice, of the Overseas" League in London, commenting on the league's popularity with Empire troops.
The Commodore and his wife were welcomed by Sir Michael Myers, president of the recently-revived Wellington branch, and by Mr. W. Appleton, chairman.
