INDIAN HUNGER-STRIKE
DELHI, October 30,
Two hundred and four political prisoners in the Deolali internment camp have been on a hunger-strike since October 22.
This was revealed today in the Central Legislative Assembly, where a motion for an adjournment drew attention to their action.
The Government claimed that the strike was called for political motives, and said it refused to consider the demands while the strike continued. None of the strikers was seriously ill.
