EIRE'S NEUTRALITY
"ONLY POSSIBLE COURSE"
LONDON, October 5. In Eire today, Mr. E. de Valera acknowledged the respect which Great Britain had shown for'Eire's rights as a neutral. He maintained that the course of neutrality had the support of the greater majority and was the only possible course. Eire was so placed as to be obviously tempting to both combatants.
