The German Losses

(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 5. M. Scherbakov, director of the Russian Department of Information, says that Hitler's casualty figures are fantastic. The Germans have lost over 3,000,000 in killed, wounded, and prisoners since they invaded Russia, and also 11,000 tanks, 13,000 guns, and 9000 planes. The Russian losses, he declared, are 230,000 killed, 720,000 wounded, 178,000 missing, 7000 tanks, 8900 guns, and 5300 planes.
