A change in the weather, it being wet and cold for the opening events, did not prevent a large crowd of enthusiasts patronising the second day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Spring Meeting, and the totalisator handled £15,518, compared- with £14,778 10s on the corresponding day last year.
