Pleading guilty in the Magistrate's Court today to stealing from Winifred L. Baker the sum of £10, Frederick Cairns Lee, aged 21, a salesman, was convicted by Mr. J. L. Stout. S.M., and ordered to come up" for sentence if called upon within- six months, a condition being, that he makes restitution within a fortnight of £9 not recovered.
A fine of £5 was imposed by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today upon Thomas MacFarlane, aged 26, an animal keeper, for assaulting A. Sutherland. He was ordered to make good the damage on a charge of breaking two panes of glass and a leadlight, valued at £6, the property of Clara Hallam. He pleaded guilty.
