"I understand the: defence in this case is that the man is an Irish national," said counsel at the Petone Court, in the case of John Joseph Fahey, who had failed to report for military duty. The case was adjourned for 14 days to enable counsel to ascertain the facts and for Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., to find out what decision had been ar-, rived at in dealing with similar cases.
