(P.A.) AUCKLAND,'This Day. The first express from Wellington arrived at Auckland at about 1 p.m., almost six hours late. The Limited, due at 9.30 this morning, is expected to arrive at about 3.30 p.m., having been diverted through the Wairarapa over the Rimutaka Ranges. When the flood waters were rising at Kaiwarra yesterday afternoon, Mrs. K. Hodge, 23 Gorge Road, finding the water gaining ground, collected some belongings and mounted a step ladder in order to put them in a place of safety. The ladder slipped, and she fell, fracturing her ieft arm and falling into water. The Free Ambulance took her to hospital
