PROBLEMS OF SUPPLY
CONFERENCE TO TAKE PLACE
LONDON, October 2. Middle East supply and transport problems are expected to be discussed at a meeting of the United Kingdom Corporation (Britain's international trading concern), which will be held in Palestine shortly. The head of the [corporation is stated to be on his way from Ankara to meet the corporation j representatives from South Africa,! Irak, Iran, Palestine, Syria, Egypt; and Turkey.
It is understood that the special problems to be discussed will include the improvement of sending goods from South Africa and Egypt by way of Haifa. British deliveries to Turkey should be improved as a result of the conference.
