TRIPOLI HIT AGAIN

BOMBERS SCORE SUCCESS

LONDON, October 3.

Today's R.A.F. communique from the Middle East reports another successful raid on Tripoli on Tuesday night. Searchlights, buildings, troops, and a motor transport' park were machine-gunned from a low level. On the same night, Benghazi and Barce were attacked again. From these and other operations four planes are missing. • Today's Army communiquel from Cairo says that although the dust storm continued unabated British artillery yesterday actively engaged enemy positions facing the south-west-ern sector of the Tobruk defences. The enemy was forced to withdraw after suffering casualties.
