WOMAN KILLED
STRUCK BY RAILWAY TRUCK
(P.A.) WANGANUI, This Day. Mrs. Charlotte Annie Jones, aged 75, of Aramoho, was killed instantly through being struck by railway trucks on the Aramoho level crossing. The trucks were being backed towards the crossing and Mrs. Jones, who was deaf and had her hat down, walked on to the line and was knocked down and run over by the first truck.
