KNITTED UNDERWEAR
FURTHER PRICE-FIXING
Five additional orders have been gazetted by the Price Tribunal fixing the prices of knitted underwear made by various mills operating in New Zealand. Already the products of a substantial number of the mills have been dealt with and very shortly it is hoped to bring the products of the remaining mills on to the same footing. The prices fixed are maximum prices and retailers may, of course, sell at a price below the maximum. All retailers are obliged to conform to the prices fixed by these orders. As such price orders include very many, and in some cases hundreds of items, it is not feasible to advertise them in detail, but the attention of traders and others interested is drawn to an advertisement in another column giving the names of the mills covered and stating that copies of the price orders may be obtained from the Government Printer at a small charge.
