THE TIMBER TRADE
The New Zealand Forest Service reports imports of timber during July to be of the following values:—Australia, £19,330; Canada, £8849; United Spates, £15,264. Exports of rimu, white pine, kauri, and other timbers, including pinus, were mainly to Australia and were of the value of £16,762. Exports of case and other- timber to Pacific Islands were of the value of £350.
