RAID ON NAZI CRAFT
R.A.F. WORK OFF DUNKIRK
(Rec. 2 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 26. An Air Ministry communique states: "This afternoon aircraft of the Fighter Command attacked four enemy minesweepers and two A.A. ships off Dunkirk. Both the A.A. ships were damaged and two of the minesweepers were set on fire. -
"Other fighter aircraft, on offensive patrol, sank a small patrol ship off Cherbourg. None of our aircraft is missing."—B.O.W.
