DIRECTOR APPOINTED

LONDON, September 26.

A director of transport has been appointed in Iran in connection with military developments. He is Briga-dier-General Sir Godfrey Rhodes, general manager of the Kenya and Uganda railways and harbours.

He is a Canadian. In the last war he was engaged in railway work in France and Salonika.
