GLENMORE AND GARDEN ROADS
(Tp the Editor.)
Sir, —We are at present instructed to walk on footpaths when possible, and, knowing Wellington is the Capital City of New Zealand and the Premier's residence has been removed from city to Northland suburb, naturally causes a lot of untold traffic; so, in the interest of the general public, I would like to know what steps are being taken to form a footpath in Garden Road, off Glenmore Street, which is now becomiing specially dangerous'to women and [children, and needs immediate consideration. Further, whenever possible there should be a footpath on each side of our near-city horoughfares, especially in the new Sydney-Bowen Streets locality, which practically adjoins our delightful Botanical Gardens.—l am, etc URGENT.
