SHIPPING LOSSES
ITALIANS SUFFER HEAVILY
ALEXANDRIA, September 25.
"One ship in every five leaving Italy for Libya fails to return,'* declared the senior naval officer commenting on the recent Italian losses.
He expressed the opinion that Italy had now lost 30 per cent-of her mercantile navy, while a further 20 per. cent, was probably immobilised for repairs.
