RUSSIA TO GET AUSTRALIA'S

SHARE

WASHINGTON, September 24.

The Australian Minister to Washington, Mr. R. J. Casey, conferred with the Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, today, and discussed the general world situation.

Mr. Casey said that Australia would forgo for the present some materials that have been arranged for, so that the areas of greatest need would obtain them promptly, Russia being the foremost.

Aeroplanes, petroleum, aluminium, and machine tools are covered by this decision.
