MRS. FOREMAN CHAMPION

The Miramar ladies' open championship was won yesterday by Mrs. Foreman (Miramar), who beat Mrs. Hosktng ■: (Paekakarlki) in the final, 2 and 1. Other results were :— Miramar Handicap.—Final: Miss Wheeler beat Mrs. Brooks, 2 and 1. Miramar Flight.—Final: Mrs. Heald beat Miss Batham, 5 and 3. In the fourball best-ball bogey Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. ■ Thomas tied with Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Cook, 1 down. Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Thomas won on the count back.

FIXTURES.

Rangimarie Club.—Weekend: First round men's foursomes, first round club championships. , ■

Shandon Club. —Weekend: First round Griffin, Ellis, and Banish plates; second rounds club championships and Fergie Cup. Senior and Junior dual medal.
