A.N.A. PARTY NETS £30
Magnolia and pear blossom were effectively massed about the ballroom at the Army, Navy, and Air Force Club last night for the second bridge and mah-jong party arranged by the club's comforts committee. More than 200 people were present, and as a result the comforts fund was substantially increased, and many extras for the men can be purchased when required. Approximately £30 was added to the fund.' ■■//_.■'■ " « '. The main ballroom was crowded with mah-jong players, and the auxiliary dance-room was arranged with tables for bridge enthusiasts. This room and the cafeteria downstairs were also beautifully decorated with flowers. Supper was donated by members of Hhe-club and was served in the cafeteria.
