RUGBY, September 23.

Sir Courtauld Thomson, chairman of the Red Cross Sales, today handed a cheque for £30,000/ to the Duke of Gloucester's Red Cross and St. John fund. The amount includes £700 realised by the King's gift of wine at the first Red Cross wine sale.—B.O.W.
