REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE

The annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand was held last night.

Mr. R. A. Large presided over" a large attendance, visitors being present from Gisborne, Napier, and . elsewhere.

The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: —President, Mr. R. A. Large (re-elected); committee, Messrs. J. G. Harcourt, L. A. MeAlister and the president, ex officio, Messrs. W. H. Barton, A. A. Gellatly, Leonard L. Hunt, E. Whiteacre, Victor Williamson, E. Shields-Brown, A. R. Truebridge, W. R. Bernie (Palmerston North), and G. W. Sellar (Masterton).

All religious institutions dedicated to education are now closed in Germany, and all officials are spied on if they take part in religious life.
