THE SHIELD RESULTS

The result of the Osmond Shield was a win for the Hutt Club, and the Ladies' Shield was won by "Evening Post." The scores were :— Osmond Shield.—Hutt 676, Brooklyn 672 "Evening Post" 660, Aotea 655. Ladies' Shield.—"Evening Post" 522, Petone Ladies 512, P.W.M.C. Ladies 505, H.V. Ladies r.02. Hutt Ladies 488. The inter-club matches last week resulted as follows: — A Grade.—Hutt 337, South 335; Brooklyn 343. Evening Post" 317; Petone Central 323, f.W.M.C. —.
