FARMS SOLD FOR CASH.
Small farms in the Wairarapa district are reported by the Eeal Estate Institute to ■be "in good demand and prices are well maintained." In the Manawatu district it is reported that "the demand for farming properties during the past year has been good, but now shows a tendency to slacken off Sellers are asking more than buyers are willing to give, with a resultant restriction in sales. A feature of the business has been the considerable number of sales for cash which have taken place."
