WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
The semi-finalists in the Miramar Ladies' Golf Club's open championship were found yesterday, and the semifinals were played this morning. In the semi-final of the open championship this morning Mrs. Hosking (Paekakariki) beat Miss Stevens (Miramar), 2 and 1, and Mrs. Foreman (Miramar) beat Mrs. Wilson (Hutt), 2 and 1. Mrs. Hosking and Mrs. Foreman are playing the final this after^ noon. « In the semi-finals of the Miramar Handicap Miss Wheeler beat Mrs. Russell, 8 and 7, and Mrs. Brooks beat Miss Simpson, 7 and 5. Results are as follows:— Open Championship. Second Round. —Miss Stevens beat' Mrs. Farmer, 4 and 3; Mrs. Hosking beat Mrs. Mace, 6 and 5; Mrs. Wilson beat Mrs. Harman, 2 up; Mrs. Foreman beat Mrs. Ferguson, 1 up.
